Well, we had a wonderful day in Death Valley National Park on Thursday. It is truly is one of our nation's natural treasures.
But what started with this:

As a result of the second event -- I won't say exactly what happened, in order to preserve some suspense -- we got into the hotel late and had some automotive research to do this morning, so the daily update will not come until much later today. On top of this, we also need to make our first vet of the trip on Friday.
All in all, it was a day of high highs and low lows, perfectly appropriate for Death Valley.
